BiH Athletes Three Medals at the Balkan Championship in Bulgaria

atletikaThe team of  BiH won three medals, one gold, silver and bronze, at the 66th Balkan Athletics Championship for seniors, held during the last weekend in Stara Zagora(Bulgaria).

Dejan Mileusnić won the title of the Champion of the Balkans. Member of  the Athletic Club Zenica celebrated the score of  76.44meters, with that defended the title won last year in Turkey Eskišehir.

The silver medal went to Amel Tuka, also a member of the Athletic Club Zenica, in the race of 800 m, with the result of  1:50,77, while the bronze medal was won by Biljana Cvijanović, a member of the Athletic Club Doboj, who run1.500min4:17,43.

Among more than 200 athletes from 12 countries, BiH male selection in the team competition got the eighth place and BiH female selection won the seventh place.

BiH Colors in Balkan Championship at Stara Zagorija were represented by34 athletes.
