BiH beat Switzerland 7-1 in preliminary round for FIFA Futsal World Cup

Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) beat Switzerland 7-1 in futsal in the preliminary round for FIFA Futsal World Cup on Tuesday in Zenica, a city located 70 kilometers northwest of the capital Sarajevo.

In the “Husejin Smajlovic” arena, host team scored the first goal in the fifth minute, when a player of host team Nermin Kahvedzic sent the ball easily to the opponent’s goal.

The visiting team returned to the game five minutes later when Noel Charrier assisted Evangelos Marcoyannakis who tied the result. However, in twelfth minute, host team scores for 2-1, when Nermin Kahvedzic scores again.

The host team scored the third goal in a seventeenth minute, after which both teams played in a defensive manner.

In the second half-time, Kahvedzic scored his third goal, for the result of 4-1.

Host team goalkeeper Stanislav Galic managed to take the advantage of the Swiss empty goal for 5-1. In the thirty-first minute, host team captain Anel Radmilovic scores for 6-1 and Bilal Jelic finished the match with final result of 7-1.

The 2020 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Lithuania is scheduled to take place from Sept. 12 to Oct. 4, 2020 with 24 contenders.
