A special team of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, in cooperation with Europol and the FBI, deciphered the communication between members of the BiH Border Police and criminal structures, which resulted in the arrest of a police officer.

According to the collected evidence, the suspect was in contact with members of an organized criminal group, which in the case code-named “Dove” is being investigated by a team made up of crime police investigators and operatives of the criminal-intelligence unit of the MOI of Sarajevo Canton under the supervision of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office.

As Klix.ba learns, Saban Kudo, a member of the Trebinje Border Police Unit, helped criminals by taking money for giving away official secrets and information, that is, he revealed to them routes through which they could transport larger quantities of narcotics without hindrance.

For a certain amount of money, he told members of criminal groups exactly where to go when transporting drugs from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the territory of another country, without being detected by the border police.

The police officers of the BiH Border Police handed over the suspect to the jurisdiction of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, which will interrogate the suspect and make a decision on further activities in the case.

As they unofficially learn, a specially formed team of the Sarajevo police continues to work intensively on discovering members of organized criminal groups who in the past period produced, traded and distributed narcotics in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also outside the country’s borders.

Investigators obtain information by decrypting messages, given that the criminals used special Sky phones and Anom applications, so new actions can be expected in the coming period.
