Companies from BiH that represented their products at the last food and drink fair “Foodex 2013” in Tokyo are very satisfied with their participation, and in talks are negotiations with potential partners to discuss exports to Japan, confirmed the Director of the windery “Tvrdoš” from Trebinje Tihomir Kuduz.
“We are very pleased with the visit and impressions of visitors, especially professional connoisseurs of wine and food, as well as business people’’, said Kuduz.
He confirmed that representatives of the Japanese government visited the booth displaying wines from BiH at the fair. The wife of the Japanese Prime Minister was part of the delegation, as well as the Ambassador of BiH to Japan Pero Pero Matić and the Ambassador of Serbia Bojana Adamović Dragović.
At this year’s food and drink fair in Tokyo, apart from wines from the wine cellars from the winery “Čitluk”, there was also “Andrija” from “Čitluk”, Winery “Nuić” from Ljubuški, and the food industry “Save-Semberija” from Bijeljina.
Companies from BiH participated in the fair at the invite of the Japanese trade organization, and through the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber. This is the first time companies from BiH have participated at the fair in Japan.
The international fair for food and drink “Fudeks 2013” was held from 5-8 March in Tokyo.
