Faris Demirovic and Farah Demirovic, students of Richmond Park International Secondary School from Sarajevo, won bronze medals, while Nidal Vatres, a student of the same school, and Sergej Petkovic, a student of the Mathematical Gymnasium from Bijeljina, received special praise.

Namely, these are the students who showed the best knowledge at the National Informatics Competition for elementary school students, and won participation in the Junior Balkan Olympiad in Romania.

The success of the junior informatics team from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) at the Olympiad in Romania, which achieved enviable results among 47 competitors from 12 countries, is the product not only of their interest in informatics, but also of their selfless effort and learning, as well as the dedicated work of their professors who prepared them for this great competition, writes Politicki.ba, whose editor Sead Numanovic said that “these bronzes are worth as gold.”
