BiH Council of Ministers on the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Communications

At today’s session, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina should consider the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Communications, proposed by the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Consideration of the Draft Loan Agreement (Project to improve the management of road assets in the Federation as part of the Investment Program for the construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation of highways in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina), between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, with the Basis for concluding the said agreement is also foreseen.

The proposal for a decision on the introduction of a temporary protective measure during the import of steel and steel products, proposed by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, should also be considered.

The agenda should also include the Proposal for a Decision on making undistributed income from UniCredit Bank’s account available to the Civil Aviation Directorate of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is also planned to consider: Information on concluding an agreement for the Instrument for Reforms and Growth with the European Commission; Information on the situation in the tourism sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Report on the implementation of the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Croatia on cooperation in monitoring the state border for 2025.

In the second round of voting, the ministers should express their opinion on the Draft basis for conducting negotiations to conclude amendments to the Military-Financial Agreement on Cooperation between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Implementation Protocol on Financial Assistance between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Turkey.

As the penultimate item on the agenda, marked as confidential, should be considered the Proposal for a Decision on Amendments to the Decision on Salary Supplements Based on Special Job Conditions for Employees of the Institute for Execution of Criminal Sanctions, Detention and Other Measures of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
