The session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was scheduled for 25 February, will be held today. The proposed agenda includes, among other things, a new text of the Draft Law on the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The ministers should also have before them the Draft Agreement on the Financing of the Annual Action Plan for Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2024 between the European Union, represented by the European Commission, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, represented by the Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the Basis for concluding the aforementioned agreement.
The Draft Agreement on Amendments to the Agreement on the Financing of the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Serbia – Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2021 – 2027 between the European Union, represented by the European Commission, and BiH, represented by the Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Republic of Serbia, represented by the Ministry for European Integration, with the Basis for concluding the aforementioned agreement should also be considered.
It is also planned to consider the Information on the implementation of the “Perspectives” transition and care program for dismissed personnel and the implementation of the “preventive” project for mental health protection and psychosocial assistance in the Ministry of Defense of BiH and the Armed Forces of BiH in 2024.
The agenda should include, among other things, the Information on statistical indicators in education in BiH for 2024, as well as the new text of the Information on the participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Erasmus+ program, in the part related to education and youth.
The session of the Council of Ministers of BiH, which was scheduled for February 25, was not held, because the day before, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Staša Košarac (SNSD) announced that ministers from Republika Srpska would not attend the session, because that day they would attend a rally in support of the President of the RS Milorad Dodik in Banja Luka. The Court of BiH sentenced Dodik to one year in prison and a six-year ban on political activity for the criminal offense of failure to implement the decisions of the High Representative.
