The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina has adopted a decision at an extraordinary telephone session declaring Saturday, April 26, 2025, the Day of Mourning in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of the death of the Holy Father Francis, as announced on the platform of the X Council of Ministers of BiH.
The Day of Mourning is marked by the mandatory display of the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the buildings of BiH institutions at half-mast, i.e. at full mast.
It is recommended that the Public Broadcasting Service of Bosnia and Herzegovina adapt its programming content to the Day of Mourning, as well as to the organizers of public events in which BiH associations and associations participate.
