Ambassadors from about 10 countries, together with the Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Minister of Defense of BiH, Zukan Helez, visited the BNT TMiH Novi Travnik defense industry company today.
They were, Helez said after the tour, satisfied with what they saw.
“After visiting defense industry companies in the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton, the ambassadors expressed their desire to visit the BNT TMiH defense industry company. Today we visited some of the plants, saw what they do, heard how long they have been working, what they produce and where they export. We are with about 10 ambassadors today, from Indonesia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the Czech Republic, Austria… BNT TMiH products have already been placed on the European Union market and I hope that with this visit we will expand the export range to some other countries, other parts of the world. The ambassadors are delighted with what the company does and produces,” said Helez.
Ambassador of Palestine in BiH Rezeq Namoora thanked Minister Helez for the opportunity to visit so many, as he said, important things in BiH.
“Minister Helez is a very active minister, he always surprises us with new activities. The company we visited supports the economy of BiH, it has about 500 employees, which is a very large number and the company helps the development of this part of the country and the whole of BiH. On behalf of all my fellow ambassadors, I thank the minister for the opportunity to visit a lot of important things in BiH. I wish BiH as a beautiful and friendly country peace and stability,” said Namoora.
After Novi Travnik, the ambassadors will visit Bugojno and Kupres.
“Next we will go to Bugojno, after that we will visit the natural beauties of BiH for the weekend, we will visit several lakes, the monastery on Štita, museums. In addition to this working visit, I want to promote the tourism potential of BiH, which is not small and I think that it is one of the economic branches that is the future of BiH”, said Helez.
