Dzumhur played a fantastic Match against Alcaraz

The best Bosnian tennis player Damir Džumhur did not advance to the round of 16 at Roland Garros. Tonight, Damir was defeated 1:3 by the world’s second-ranked player Carlos Alcaraz from Spain after more than three hours of fighting. Despite the defeat, Džumhur delighted the audience in Paris by playing one of the best matches of his career against a favored opponent.

Džumhur did not enter the match very well and lost the first set 1:6.

Our tennis player played the second set better, but lost it 3:6.

Damir played phenomenally in the third set and resolved it in his favor with 6:4.

The Bosnian tennis player also started the fourth set excellently. He had a lead of 2:0 and 3:1, but the favored Alcaraz turned the score around and led 3:5.

Alcaraz served for the match, but Damir made a break and reduced it to 4:5.

However, Alcaraz eventually won 4:6 in the fourth set and secured victory.

The Spanish tennis player will play American Ben Shelton in the next round.
