On Saturday, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turkovic led the BiH delegation in Washington in separate meetings with the World Bank (WB) delegation led by Anna Bjerde, WB Vice President, and Cohen Davidse, WB Executive Director.
They discussed economic developments in BiH and the region and strengthening co-operation in the new geopolitical circumstances.
Also, Minister Turkovic, together with the Governor of the Central Bank of BiH Senad Softic held separate meetings with the Executive Directors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Paul Hilbers and Alfred Kammer.
There was talk of challenges due to rising inflation and problems in the global economy.
The meetings were also attended by representatives of the Office of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH and the entity governments, the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH announced.
