BiH exports most of its Vegetables to Croatia

Croatia is the first country according to exports of vegetables from BiH, and it is in the fifth place when it comes to exports of fruits. However, in comparison to the first six months of last year, the export of vegetables to Croatia was decreased by more than 4 million kg. The export of fruits is drastically decreased as well, and the value of fruits exported in the first six months of this year was decreased by 8.173,804 BAM in comparison to the same period in 2016.

In the first six months of this year, BiH exported most of its vegetables to Croatia – a total of 1,013,777 kilograms in the value of 2,413,967 BAM. On the second place is Germany with 233,047 kilograms in the value of 1.422.403 BAM, and in the third place is Russia with 410.539 kilograms in the value of 1.174.028 BAM.

Among the top ten countries in which BiH exports its vegetables are following: Switzerland (39,969 kg, 1,037,366 BAM), Italy (69,996 kg, 798,603 BAM), Serbia (337,452 kg, 716,970 BAM), France (39,124 kg, 622,431 BAM) Montenegro (1.401.264 kg, 592.057 BAM), Macedonia (1.591.235 kg, 396.301 BAM) and Norway (412.644 kg, 382.304 BAM). In the 10 leading countries was exported a total of 5,549,047 kilograms of vegetables in the amount of 9.556.431 BAM, and from BiH was exported 6.601.244 kilograms of vegetables s in the amount of 11.410.683 BAM.

When it comes to exports of fruits from BiH, Croatia is in the fifth place with a total of 330.133 kilograms in the value of 2.508.176 BAM. Most of fruits are exported to Russia (16,429,641 kg, 28,418,221 BAM), Serbia (5,383,225 kg, 13,977,358 BAM), Germany (1,590,349 kg, 5,372,145 BAM), Sweden (1,034,051 kg, 5.057.268 BAM) Austria (652,688 kg, 1,661,440 BAM), Turkey (452,721 kg, 1,638,424 BAM), Switzerland (254,495 kg, 1,481,803 BAM), Slovenia (652,688 kg, 1,966,386 BAM) and Montenegro (143,130 kg, 693,676 BAM).

The total value of exported fruits in the 10 leading countries was 62.130.060 BAM for a total of 26.597.368 kilograms. BiH exported a total of 27,621,304 kilograms of fruits in the amount of 64.344.061 BAM.

When it comes to fruit exports, Croatia was in the third place in 2016 and 2015, with the export of 3,400,726 kilograms in the value of 10,681,980 BAM, or 4,930,452 kilograms in the amount of 10,343,461 BAM. In the year of 2016, a total of 46,467,915 kilograms of fruit were exported in the amount of 114,557,308 BAM, while in the year of  2015 was exported a total of 47,153,906 kilograms in the amount of 103.005.054 BAM.
