At the conference Mapping the Film Industry of BiH which was held on 6 and 7 March in Banja Luka it was concluded that BIH film industry has a very good position in European Film Industry and that it is one of the success stories of BIH.
Speakers of the conference were manager of the Sarajevo Film Festival Mirsad Purivatra, BiH Euroimages representative Jovan Marjanović, chairwoman of the Association of Film Workers Amra Bakši Čamo and others, and they adopted the Action plan for the development of BiH film industry.
Despite a small number of employees ,BiH film industry has created many films which were recognised and awarded in the World (Oscar for No Man’s Land) and in Europe with latest film of Danis Tanović receiving a Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival.
