The Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bisera Turkovic, spoke with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State of the United States of America, Gabriel Escobar.

The meeting was held in Bled, Slovenia, on the sidelines of the Strategic Forum.

During the meeting, Turkovic and Eskobar discussed the most current political issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region. The importance of the continuation of the Euro-Atlantic path of BiH and the continuity of the support that the USA provides to Bosnia and Herzegovina was emphasized.

“They discussed, among other things, the necessity of continuing the international military presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the form of the electoral law and strengthening the fight against corruption,” the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
