The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, discussed with the Director of the Secretariat of the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI), Albert Hani, the key priorities and planned activities of the RAI, with an emphasis on strengthening the institutional framework and improving regional cooperation in the fight against corruption.
The Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI) is a regional organization dedicated to improving the fight against corruption in Southeast Europe. The initiative brings together member states of the region with the aim of strengthening legislation, promoting integrity, protecting whistleblowers and building capacities through regional cooperation.
Hani presented the strategic goals of the Secretariat and the directions of RAI’s activities in the coming period to Minister Konaković.
Konaković expressed full support for the work of the Secretariat, emphasizing that the fight against corruption is one of the most important issues for BiH, the region and society as a whole.
He emphasized that anti-corruption is highly ranked among the priorities of domestic institutions, and underlined the importance of regional cooperation as a foundation for building transparent and more resilient institutions, the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH announced.
