The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, met today with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Gordan Grlić Radman, with whom he discussed the improvement of bilateral relations and current political topics of common interest.

On that occasion, it was emphasized that the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia are good and stable, with a mutual commitment to further strengthening them through more intensive bilateral cooperation in various areas.

A special focus of the conversation was on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s European path. The interlocutors agreed that the soon holding of an intergovernmental conference between BiH and the EU would be an important step forward that would officially mark the start of negotiations on full membership.

During the meeting, the problem of the stay of carriers from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Schengen area was also discussed, with the readiness to find adequate solutions through dialogue and cooperation that would facilitate business and the movement of goods and services.

At the end of the meeting, it was concluded that the continuation of open dialogue and partnership is crucial for the stability and progress of both countries, as well as for overall regional cooperation.
