BiH Foreign Minister meets with the Head of Diplomacy of Saudi Arabia

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, met today, during an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Fahran Al Saud.

Minister Konaković expressed satisfaction with the good and friendly relations between the two countries and thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the political and material support it provides to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The ministers of foreign affairs and the delegations of the two countries exchanged opinions on the domestic and foreign policy goals of the two countries. The ministers also discussed the situation in Southeast Europe and the Middle East, as well as the cooperation between the two countries in multilateral organizations.

Konaković emphasized that objective opportunities and potential for cooperation between the two countries can be significantly improved and that it is certainly desirable to intensify cooperation through organizing bilateral meetings, high-level meetings, then organizing business forums and developing cooperation in areas of interest to both countries.

He also stated that in Bosnia and Herzegovina, investments are promising in many areas, but certainly also in telecommunications, transport systems and infrastructure. Ministers of foreign affairs and delegations discussed the state of negotiation procedures in bilateral agreements between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Minister Konaković invited the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Prince Faisal bin Fahran Al Saud Al Saud accepted the invitation to pay an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina soon.
