bih flagThe High Representative in Valentin Inzko said that he is welcoming the EU initiative for BiH and the Written Commitment by the BiH Presidency. He sees it as an important step forward and sees BiH in future as a “stable, viable, peaceful and multiethnic country” which lies clearly within the European Union.

“What we need to see now is quick movement on the formation of authorities at the State, Federation and Cantonal levels. Some of the legal deadlines have already elapsed. The ball is clearly in the court of political parties, who must put the interests of citizens above their narrow party agendas to ensure progress in implementing necessary reforms”, Inzko said, OHR reports.
