BiH and Hungary Signed an Agreement on Cooperation in Field of Agriculture

HungaryFlagMinister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Boris Tučić and Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Hungary Šandor Fazekaš signed an Agreement on Cooperation in the field of Agriculture in Budapest today.

 

The agreement defines different modalities of enhancing mutual cooperation in primary and other agricultural production.

 

Expressing gratitude to the Hungarian Government, business entities, NGOs and the people of Hungary for providing assistance, Minister Tučić informed his interlocutor about the extent of damages in the agricultural sector in BiH after the country was hit by floods in May and informed him about activities conducted in BiH in removing consequences and rehabilitating affected areas.

 

Interlocutors assessed that the cooperation of these two countries has been good so far and emphasized that the signing of the agreement presents a good basis for additional enhancement in different fields.

 

At the press conference, Minister Tučić announced the early signing of the agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism between Hungary and BiH, the BiH Ministry of Trade and Economic Relations said in a statement.
