The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in sitting volleyball is the champion of Europe.
Yesterday, at the European Championship that was being played in Turkey, they defeated Russia and thus won the tenth gold in this competition. So far, they have been vice-champions once and got bronze twice.
BiH national team showed top quality in the match against the current European champion, and in the end, they celebrated with 3:0, in sets of 25:17, 28:26, and 27:25.
The quality of the members of Ifet Mahmutovic’s team was clear after the first played set, which ended with the result 25:17 infavor of BiH. In the continuation, the match became uncertain, but the national team members from BiH were at a high level and won the title of champion of the Old Continent.
