The Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, announced today that on June 17, he will meet with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.

“I am being pressured from all sides to join the sanctions against Russia and to show some enthusiasm. We decided not to do that, because we know that this disaster will pass and that we will have to cooperate and have good relations with Russia,” he said.

He pointed out that the situation in BiH today is more divided than ever before, but he pointed out that there is no intention to spoil relations with the West, although there are daily pressures from that side to impose sanctions on Russia.

Dodik added that the epilogue is the upcoming meetings with Putin, and that he believes that this will provoke certain reactions in the West.

“It is mine to provide you with stability. Republika Srpska is stable today, it shows once again that in addition to strong efforts, it can find an answer both internally and externally and remain stable,” said Dodik.

According to him, the Republika Srpska has its own path, the Serbian Orthodox Church, which it is proud of.
