1 Lagumdzija - Reeker 3The Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BIH Zlatko Lagumdžija received yesterday the Deputy Assistant State Secretary of the US Philip Reeker.

The focus of the discussion was the implementation of the ruling at the European Court of Human Rights in the Sejdić-Finci case, as well as solving the issue of military property, meeting the criteria for starting the implementation of the Action Plan required for membership.

They exchanged views on the proposal for reform of the FBiH. The importance of the implementation of Sejdić-Finci was emphasized, as well as the meeting of requirements for starting the implementation of the Action Plan for the further progress of BiH on the path to the EU and NATO. They concluded that the goal for FBIH reform should be better functionality and efficiency of the FBIH, of which citizens would have the most benefit.

They agreed that all these issues have to be addressed without delay, and that in the short run it would be possible to open the process of resolving military property as a condition for NATO integration, announced the BIH Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
