The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina submitted to the Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina the Report on the Implementation of the Action Plan/Road Map for Energy Support, with information on planned activities in the coming period, which is a condition for withdrawing 70 million euros allocated by the European Commission as an aid to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Minister Staša Košarac pointed out that the European Commission allocated the aforementioned funds through the Agreement on the Energy Support Package and Resilience Building within the Instrument for BiH Pre-Accession Assistance.

“Out of the total amount of 70 million euros, 50 million will be directed to help vulnerable households to overcome the increase in the price of heating, while 20 million is intended to support energy efficiency measures in small and medium-sized enterprises and households,” stated Minister Košarac.

“We have done our part and, in accordance with our obligations, we have sent the document to the EU Delegation in BiH. This was also a condition for the withdrawal of aid funds in the amount of 70 million euros,” pointed out Minister Košarac.
