The Special Olympics Olympic Games will be held in Berlin from June 17 to 23, and among the 7,000 athletes from more than 190 countries is Bosnia and Herzegovina with a delegation of 44 members, including athletes, coaches, inclusive judges and experts and management of the Special Olympics.
Last night, the representation traveled from Tuzla first to the German city of Aachen, where they will be guests of this city for the first three days as part of the “Host City Program of the Summer Olympic Games”.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina team, led by Enver Ćosićkić as head of the SOBiH team delegation and Kada Delić Selimović, director of the Special Olympics of BiH, consists of teams in several sports, including athletics, swimming, table tennis, basketball 3×3 and futsal.
The team is traveling to Berlin with great expectations and the desire to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina in a dignified and professional manner, according to BH Special Olympics team.
A team of experts from all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina prepared for the games in Berlin for a long period of time, so that athletes with difficulties could achieve the best possible results.
During the Special Olympics Summer Olympics, a series of professional meetings, congresses and meetings at the highest level will be held, with the aim of exchanging experiences, but also certifying experts from various fields who are part of the Special Olympics movement on a global level.
