The permanent delegation of the BIH Parliament, made up of members Milica Marković, Ismeta Dervoz, Nermina Kapetanović and Mladen Bosić, will participate in the second part of the regular session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which will be held from 22-26 April in Strasbourg.
On the first day, in addition to the election of the Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe from Monaco and Romania and changes in the membership of the committee, a report will be presented on the committee of ministers and they will speak about the presidential elections in Armenia.
On the following day, participants will talk about the following topics: violence against religious communities, strong legal and political action to combat sexual exploitation of children in tourism, parliaments united in the fight against sexual violence against children: a review after half of the implementation of the campaign “Every fifth”, and end discrimination against Roma children.
On the third day, the topics will be: post monitoring dialogue with Turkey, culture and education through national parliaments: European politics, Young Europeans: urgent educational challenge, and youth access to fundamental rights.
On the fourth day they will exchange opinions on the following topics: Report of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe’s Work for 2012, Frontex: Need to improve its role in the area of human rights and its capacities, managing the challenges in the area of immigration and asylum outside the eastern border of the EU.
On the last day they will hold a debate on the proposal of Protocol nr. 15 on the European Convention on Human Rights, the approximation of the benefits and risks of nanotechnology for public health and the environment, as well as ethics in science and technology.
