BiH Police arrested Five Persons for unauthorised production and sale of Narcotic Drugs

Acting on the orders of the Municipal Court in Zenica, in continuation of the operational action “Meta II”, the police teams of the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, and the MUP of the Republika Srpska early this morning began simultaneous searches at nine locations in Zenica and one in Istočno Sarajevo.

During the search, five persons suspected of having committed the criminal offenses of “unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs”, “possession and facilitating the consumption of narcotic drugs”, “illegal possession of weapons or explosive substances” and the criminal offense from Article 52 of the Law were deprived of their liberty. on acquiring, keeping and carrying weapons and ammunition of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.

N.A. were arrested. born 1980, B.S. born in 1979, V.J. born in 2003, Š.A., born in 1986 and O.J., born in 1994.

All five persons deprived of liberty are from Zenica, who after the searches were taken to the official premises of the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, where a criminal case was filed against them.

Searches of residential and other facilities used by persons deprived of their liberty found and seized: one automatic rifle, powdery substance that looks like heroin in the amount of 200 grams, powdery thing that looks like the drug “speed” in the amount of 280 gr, a plant substance that looks similar to the narcotic drug “marijuana” in the amount of one kg, 10 mobile phones with corresponding SIM cards, two scales for precise measurement, and a tool for unlocking door locks.

After the completion of the criminal investigation, the person deprived of liberty will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Zenica-Doboj Canton of Zenica for further action along with the report on the crime committed, the ZDK MUP announced.
