The police arrested three people from Bihac and Sarajevo in Ramici near Banjaluka, suspected of smuggling 12 migrants, the Banjaluka Police Department announced.

The arrest of the smuggler was preceded by the control of the Audi driven by E.M. from Sarajevo, while the passenger seat was I.H. from Bihac, as well as the Passat car of the driver E.R. from Sarajevo.

The police announced that a total of 12 migrants were found in both cars, and it was also determined that the drivers had not passed their driving test.

For the suspect E.M. a warrant was also issued by the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton for serious theft.

The Service for Foreigners Affairs and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH were informed about the case.
