BiH presents Xth Class of Officers of the Armed Forces of BiH

The solemn ceremony of the Xth class of officers and XIIth class of non-commissioned officers of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held on Friday in the “Rajlovac” barracks in Sarajevo.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Defense for Policy and Plans, Mr. Slaven Galić, Chief of the Joint Staff, Colonel General Senad Mašović, Commander of the Center for Professional Development, Colonel Šaban Kadrić, members of the EUFOR and NATO headquarters from Sarajevo, and other members of the Ministry of Defense of BiH, general, officer and non-commissioned officer corps of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After singing the national anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the commander of the Center for Professional Development, Colonel Šaban Kadrić, addressed the promoted officers and non-commissioned officers with introductory words, who greeted the participants on behalf of the Center and in his own name on the occasion of the completion of basic officer and non-commissioned officer training.

“Today’s ceremony is an indicator of the successful completion of the mission of the Center for Professional Development. Our Center is faced with a constant increase in the number of educations and participants, for which it is necessary to increase the capacities and improve the conditions for the trainings held in our center. This Class X officer and Class XII non-commissioned officer training was one of the best classes showing professionalism, responsibility and seriousness. I congratulate you on the successful completion of your training and be proud of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, said Kadrić.

The Chief of the Joint Staff, Lieutenant General Senad Mašović, addressed those present, who greeted those present and thanked them for coming in large numbers.

“Today’s swearing-in and graduation ceremony is significant not only for the defense system, but also for the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I want to thank your families who put in a lot of effort and raised you to be strong-minded, able to deal with all challenges, problems and adversity, today’s awarding of diplomas is the crown of hard work and commitment, but it is also imperative that you approach your obligations conscientiously and responsibly”, emphasized Mašović.

At the end, the Deputy Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina addressed the audience and indicated that he was proud to be present at the promotion of X class officers and XII class non-commissioned officers, and pointed out that they should be proud of themselves for having successfully completed the basic officer and non-commissioned officer training and acquired the condition to perform one of the of the most honorable professions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The best attendee of class X of basic officer training is Second Lieutenant Dževad Orman, and the best attendee of class XII of basic non-commissioned officer training is Sergeant Radovan Mičić.

66 candidates successfully completed basic officer training, and 76 candidates successfully completed basic non-commissioned officer training. We wish them much success in their further professional work!
