The Chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, said today in Munich that Europe and the world need peace and decisive leadership, which will be able to find a way to overcome the accumulated global challenges.

“There are many encouraging signals that give us the right to believe that a better and more peaceful future lies ahead. I am pleased to have attended the opening of the Munich Security Conference, and especially to have had the opportunity to listen to a very clear, realistic and inspiring speech by US Vice President James David Vance,” said Cvijanović.

She stated that Vance, among other things, pointed out that censorship of public speech, stifling freedom of speech, imprisoning political dissenters, as well as annulling elections when they are not to the liking of the mainstream, is unacceptable.

“I could sign every word,” said Cvijanović.
