BiH Presidency Member commented the Session of National Assembly of RS

The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, believes that today’s session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska has no serious effect, and that the conclusions he proposed to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina in July this year achieved the expected result.

“The conclusions reached the addresses they were supposed to reach, and that is the most important thing. That is why this is a pyrrhic victory for the RS. First, the entire domestic and international public is informed about the anti-Dayton activities of the RS authorities, and no entity assembly can hide that anymore, secondly, this is a message that there will be no silence in the state bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the face of attempts to break up the state, and thirdly, this is also a signal that the conclusions can be formulated in such a way that Željka Cvijanović will not be able to withdraw any veto,” says Denis Bećirović’s statement.

The member of the Presidency of BiH further states that the leaders of the RS, in addition to not understanding the purpose of these conclusions, apparently do not understand the messages of the democratic world either, and that it is time for Dodik and his associates to ask themselves why the USA and the United Kingdom imposed sanctions on the leaders of the RS and why the European Parliament, with as many as 409 votes, called for the introduction of sanctions against the leaders of the RS.

“Is it possible that the entire democratic world is wrong, and only Dodik and his followers are right? However, what is new for the leaders of the RS is that after a long time they are on the political defensive. So far, they have only learned to attack, threaten and that they are trying to solve problems with legal violence. Unlike them, we will behave responsibly and seriously,” announced the Cabinet of the member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović.
