BiH Presidency Member met with the US Ambassador to BiH

maureen cormack izetbegovicBosniak Member of BiH Presidency Bakir Izetbegovic received the US Ambassador to BiH Maureen Cormack. On the meeting, interlocutors discussed challenges within the reform process and modalities of the changes to the Election Law in BiH.

The interlocutors expressed the conviction that it was not too late to make thorough changes to the Election Law. Namely, they emphasized that the package should include the issue of implementation of the verdict on the Sejdic-Finci case as well as the issue of elections in the city of Mostar.

Moreover, it was stressed that further reforms should be intensified in order to accelerate the development of BiH integration processes to the EU, and possible disadvantages and different attitudes that should be solved.

The conversation went on in a friendly atmosphere.
