BiH received the first tranche worth 50 million euros of micro-financial assistance provided by the EU.
The EU expects that BiH authorities at the state and entity level use this assistance to support economic growth that would improve living standards.
‘’We now expect BiH politicians to fulfill all obligations in order to progress in the accession process. We have to see functional investments and faster structural reforms’’, said the European Commissioner for Enlargement Stefan Fule.
In November 2009 the Council of the European Union adopted a decision in BiH to make available micro-financial aid for 100 million euros in the form of loans.
