BiH records Decrease in Number of Coronavirus Cases

In the past three days, 247 coronavirus-positive persons were registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina, out of 1,669 processed tests. Thirteen people died, eight in the Federation of BiH, four in the Republika Srpska and one in the Brcko District of BiH, according to data from the entity public health institutions and the Government of the Brcko District of BiH. So far, a total of 15,644 people have died in BiH as a result of the Covid-19 infection.

In the past 72 hours, a total of 2,341 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 213 tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH.

So far, a total of 1,221,832 samples have been tested in the FBiH, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 247,613 individuals.

In the past three days, eight deaths were reported in the Federation of BiH in Una-Sana, Tuzla, Sarajevo Canton and Canton 10, while seven deaths were reported retroactively. The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH so far is 8,788.

So far, 111,490 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 6,313 people who have been tested for coronavirus have died.

A total of 416,641 people have been tested in Republika Srpska so far. The total number of hospitalized is currently 100. There are 13 people on the respirator (eight in the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, five in other hospitals).

Five new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in the Brcko District of BiH. One person died. A total of 18 samples were tested. So far, 534 people have died from the consequences of the coronavirus in the Brcko District of BiH. There are currently 64 active cases of the virus.
