The total production of forest products in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fourth quarter of last year amounted to 983,934 cubic meters and is 2.47 percent higher than in the same period in 2022, according to the data of the BiH Statistics Agency.

The production of assortments of coniferous tree species in the fourth quarter of last year amounted to 473,476 cubic meters and was 6.04 percent higher than in the same period of the previous year, and the production of assortments of deciduous species was 510,458 cubic meters and was lower by 0.63 percent.

The production of conifer logs was 301,701 cubic meters and was higher by 3.21 percent, hardwood logs by 2.52 percent and was 147,599 cubic meters.

Growth in production in the fourth quarter of last year, compared to the same period of the previous year, was recorded for conifer pit wood by 6.3 percent, and for conifer space wood by 13.94 percent.

In the fourth quarter of last year, compared to the same quarter of 2022, a decrease in production was recorded for other long coniferous wood by 11.81 percent, broadleaf hardwood by 13.41 percent, and hardwood firewood by 1.16 percent.

In the production of other roughly processed wood, conifer firewood and hardwood pit wood, we are talking about a small amount of assortments, the variation in the produced quantities has no effect on the changes in the total production of forest assortments.
