BiH records Thirty Percent more Exports in the First Six Months

In the period January-June 2021 export from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) amounted to 6 billion 489 million BAM, which is 31,1% higher than in the same period of 2020, and imports amounted to 9 billion 613 million BAM, which is 19,8% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 67,5% and the international trade in goods deficit amounted to 3 billion 124 million BAM, according to BiH Agency for Statistics.

Export to CEFTA countries amounted to 1 billion 16 million BAM, which is 31% higher than in the same period of 2020, while imports amounted to 1 billion 215 million BAM, which is 21,6% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of imports by export was 83,6%.

Export to EU countries amounted to 4 billion 825 million BAM, which is 33,3% higher than in the same period of 2020, while imports amounted to 5 billion 815 million BAM, which is 19,8% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 83%.
