VEÈERAS OTVARANJE DIONICE AUTOCESTE NA SARAJEVSKOJ ZAOBILAZNICIHighway Section, Sarajevo North- Sarajevo West of the Sarajevo bypass, 9 kilometers long will be officially opened tonight.

The new constructed Lot 3A connects highway A1 with the section Vlakovo- Tarčin from one side and Sarajevo north -Zenica south on the other side.

As announced earlier from the Director of Autoceste FB&H Ensad Karić, traffic in the entrance of Sarajevo will be easier and less crowded thanks to this bypass and will be free of charge.

To solve the long term problem of Sarajevo bypass, FB&H government adopted a decision to change the implementers of Lot 3A in February 2012 and thus engaged Autoceste FB&H company for the construction of the Sarajevo bypass Lot 3A.

Since then, in less than a year Autoceste FB&H has completed the expropriation of land in which is invested 18 million BAM of its own funds.

This complex project is entrusted to the local consortium: Euro-Asphalt and ŽGP. The contract for the construction, worth 36.8 million BAM is also financed from own sources.

The official opening of highway at the Sarajevo bypass will take place tonight at 20:00, at the section A1 near Vlakovo.
