BiH Retains Title in Golden League of Nations Sitting Volleyball Championship!

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national team in sitting volleyball defended the title of the winner of the Golden League of Nations.

The team of coach Ifet Mahmutović defeated the home team of Germany in the final match of the tournament in Kienbaum after two hours of play with a score of 3:2 (26:28, 25:18, 19:25, 25:20, 15:7).

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national team continued its dominance in this competition, achieving a maximum of six victories in Germany.

In the first part of the tournament, they defeated the teams of Croatia (3:0), Ukraine (3:1), Germany (3:0), Poland (3:1) and Turkey (3:0), and in the final match for gold, they defeated Germany again. This time, the Germans tormented the Bosnian national team and had the advantage twice, but BiH managed to come back and in the fifth set they certainly came to victory.

The following players played for Bosnia and Herzegovina in Germany: Stevan Crnobrnja, Sabahudin Delalić, Mirzet Duran, Ismet Godinjak, Dževad Hamzić, Ermin Jusufović, Muhamed Kapetanović, Asim Medić, Nizam Čančar, Edin Đino, Armin Šehić and Elvis Šerifović.

Croatia won third place in the tournament, defeating Ukraine 3:2, while Poland defeated Turkey 3:0 in the match for fifth place.
