BiH sends 41 Firefighters to Turkey to help Extinguishing Wildfires

At today’s telephone session, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted the information on sending aid to to the Republic of Turkey due to the extremely difficult situation caused by fires, which was prepared by the Federal Civil Protection Administration on behalf of the Government.

The Federal Civil Protection Administration is in charge, in coordination with the cantonal civil protection administrations, of undertaking activities to send members of professional and volunteer firefighters, as well as members of the Federal Specialized Protection and Rescue Units to the Republic of Turkey.

In the submitted Information, this federal administration informed the Government that, based on the collected data, which were submitted to it by the cantonal civil protection administrations through their operational centers, 41 firefighters could be sent to the field immediately.

Also, 100 members of the Specialized Civil Protection Units have been put on standby, and these are the units of the Federal Administration that are trained and adequately equipped, and ready to be sent to the endangered areas of the Republic of Turkey, Klix.ba writes.
