BiH Ski Federation in October 2012 in Zürich submitted a nomination to International Ski Federation (Fédération Internationale de Ski – FIS) for organizing skiing Europe Cup for the men’s downhill event, on the Bjelašnica Mt. in 2014, as well as field event on the Jahorina Mt. in 2015.
In order to prove the ability and possibility of organizing such competition, BiH Ski Federation, in cooperation with ZOI’84 company, will organise an international competition, test race for the Europe Cup in super G.
General secretary of BIH Ski Federation Jelena Dojčinović said on press conference that the race will be held on 11 and 12 February, and that the FIS’s delegate for safety will be present in order who will assess the race.
Dojčinović noted that for that reason, the test race will have to be organised on the level of Europe cup races.
