BiH State Police arrested Eleven Persons

Today, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) carried out the “Derby” operation in the area of ​​Modriča, Šamac, Pelagićevo, Posušje, Grud and Zenica and searched business and residential buildings and movable property at 15 locations, SIPA announced. -e.

As stated in the announcement, eleven persons were arrested due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed criminal acts of organized crime, tax evasion or fraud, illegal circulation of excise goods, illegal storage of goods, illegal trade and money laundering, prescribed by the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The arrested were taken to SIPA premises for criminal processing and questioning as suspects.

During the search, temporarily confiscated items were discovered that can be used as evidence in the further proceedings, among them money, 11 tons of rolled tobacco, two tobacco cutting machines, two electric cigarette filling machines, a large amount of cardboard packaging for cigarettes with a label FM, 49 large PVC bags of cut tobacco, about 3,800 kilograms of tobacco roots, mobile phones and various business documents.
