Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Denis Becirovic, sent a telegram of condolences to the Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, on the occasion of the attack on the Jewish community in Australia.

“BiH most strongly condemns the horrific terrorist attack on the Jewish community in Sydney. Every attack on innocent people is a direct assault on the fundamental values on which modern civilization is based. All democratic states must be united in the fight against terrorism, hatred, and antisemitism,” Becirovic stated.

He added that he sincerely sympathizes with the families of the victims and the people of friendly Australia, and wishes the injured a speedy recovery.

“Please accept, Mr. Prime Minister, on behalf of the citizens of BiH and in my personal name, expressions of deep condolences,” Becirovic stated in the telegram of condolences, the Presidency of BiH announced.
