The German economy has exceeded all expectations and is currently recording some of the best results in history. This is great news for Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), as Germany is the biggest trading partner of our country, and all fluctuations in this economy are reflecting on BiH, but also on entire Europe.

Germany has the lowest unemployment rate in history and the highest rate of factory production, due to the growth of global demand for German products, and also the strengthening of domestic consumption of the population.

“Unemployment in Germany fell to a record low level, reflecting the boom in the German economy,” writes U.S. Bloomberg.

The unemployment rate in December was 5.5 percent. The number of unemployed last month has decreased by 29.000, which is more than twice of predicted number.

“Germany enjoys strong economic growth, which is encouraged by the rise in domestic consumption and strong global trade, “ Bloomberg states.

According to this American media, Germany ended 2017 with great economic growth and unprecedented expansion in the manufacturing sector.

The so-called “factory activity” in December was at a record level. According to Reuters, strong external demand led to record production at German factories in December. The demand was so great that the factories did not manage to produce enough goods, so there was the biggest delay in deliveries in the past 20 years.

“The largest European economy ended in 2017, with an unusually strong grounds,”  Reuters concluded.
