Company ‘Boksit’ from Milići bought woodworking machines and equipment for the production of solid-wood furniture, whose value is around 75.000 Euros, writes business portal ‘Capital’.
The Acting Executive Director in the Department of Wood Processing in ‘Boksit’ Radenko Petrović said that they plan to produce tables, beds, club-tables, chests of drawers and laminated furniture, intended for foreign markets.
Petrović said that the acquisition of new equipment and the launch of production lines for the production of solid-wood furniture requires the employment of a certain number of workers, primarily people involved in carpentry and with working experience.
He stated that the machinery and equipment was bought from the company ‘Filos’ from Čačak.
There are currently 70 people employed in the sector, who are engaged in primary wood processing, production of parquet flooring, small accessories, glued solid wood panels and briquettes.
