A bomb threat was reported at Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Los Angeles home on Thanksgiving Day, forcing the actor to “host” the police for the holiday.

According to TMZ, Schwarzenegger’s home was raided by several officers on Thanksgiving Day, even though he wasn’t expecting them when the day began.

Sources told the outlet that police responded to a call that a bomb had been placed in the actor’s mailbox at his Los Angeles home.

Officers reportedly rushed to the home and searched the mailbox and surrounding area, but found no explosive device.

Sources say officers spoke with Schwarzenegger’s security team, who explained that it would be virtually impossible to plant a bomb in the home, given that the star has 24/7 security and video surveillance.

Arnold wasn’t home when the incident occurred – he was actually at the gym. The Los Angeles Police Department is treating this as an assault… but no arrests have been made yet.

Although Arnold has not commented on the incident, sources close to him say they were “grateful police officers came to the house on a holiday to check on the situation.”

Arnold was last seen before Thanksgiving handing out turkeys in Los Angeles.
