Bomb Reports in Sarajevo Shopping Centers were false

Counter-sabotage inspections of three Sarajevo shopping centers SCC, Importanne center and Aria Mall were completed last night, during which it was determined that the bomb reports were false, the Canton Sarajevo Ministry of Interior announced.

The KDZ inspection of the Aria Mall shopping center was completed on Tuesday at 9:40 p.m. The KDZ inspection in the SCC shopping center, Vrbanja Street 1, was completed last night at 7:30 p.m., the KDZ inspection in the Importanne shopping center, Zmaja od Bosne Street 7, was completed at 6:30 p.m.

Counter-subversion inspections in three shopping centers were carried out by teams of the Police Administration of the CS MoI, as well as the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies in BiH and the Federal Police Administration, in accordance with the Agreement on mutual assistance and operational cooperation of police agencies in BiH.

Police officers of the CS MoI Police Directorate, under the supervision of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton, continue their work on documenting and elucidating this criminal act.

Reports of bombs were sent on Tuesday morning around 04:00 by e-mail to the address of those shopping centers. After the reports were received, during the day the CS MoI was informed, shopping centers were evacuated and KDZ inspections were carried out. After the KDZ review, it was determined that the reports were false.
