The representative of the Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Branislav Borenović, stated today that the SNSD has become a “measuring unit for stupidity”, and Milorad Dodik is the biggest burden for Republika Srpska.
At a press conference in Banja Luka, Borenović said “that we are in a crisis that has lasted for years”, and that the PDP is looking for solutions to make things better for the people of Republika Srpska, and not to sit in some armchair.
“We are witnessing blockades, arrogance and unreasonable behavior of the authorities. We have decided to unblock the European path and give BiH a chance for its European perspective. Radmanović and Nešić were dismissed, and it was also clear that the coalition at the BiH level had collapsed. “Quite logically, I don’t see the need for the SNSD to whine and cry,” Borenović said.
We, he added, don’t care about the seats like they do, “because if it were like that, we would have filled it two days ago and if it were like that, I wouldn’t be a member of the PDP Main Board today, since I handed over the position of president to Draško Stanivuković.”
“We want to talk about concrete solutions at the BiH level,” Borenović said.
He noted that on the same day that the member of the Collegium of the House of Representatives of the BiH PA Nebojša Radmanović was dismissed, the situation regarding the dismissal of the former BiH Minister of Security Nenad Nešić, who is in prison, was also resolved.
“For 30 days, the story has been going on about whether the minister in prison should be dismissed and how. It’s sickening to watch them defend Nešić’s corrupt activities. I can’t believe that individuals are glorifying it and imposing a grotesque model of behavior in which corruption is a lifestyle. “This is catastrophic,” Borenović stressed.
According to him, the SNSD structure is getting narrower.
“There is Dodik and a few of his henchmen who have been doing everything and anything in the last two days. We will see in the coming period whether the policy of solutions will prevail or whether the policy of conflicts, tensions, rigged tenders and the purchase of Kumiv buildings, all that the SNSD has been delivering to us in recent years, will continue. I am convinced that we will be wise and responsible in making decisions at the level of BiH on behalf of the Republika Srpska with our constitutional capacities.
“We can make decisions in the House of Representatives, we also have two delegates in the House of Peoples and we have the constitutional legitimacy to be a qualified and wise partner who will help restore trust in institutions and ensure that the people truly benefit,” said Borenović.
He added that there was no agreement with the SNSD regarding the vote in the House of Representatives of the BiH PA, and that it was shameful that the SNSD deputies left the session the night after the vote to dismiss Radmanović and Nešić, thus leaving room for possible decisions that would be harmful to Republika Srpska, the PDP announced.
