During the past night, our homeland was hit by three earthquakes, according to data from the European Seismological Center (EMSC).
All three earthquakes had their epicenter near the capital city of Sarajevo, and the first one with a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale occurred at 00:45, at a distance of 32 kilometers from Sarajevo, near Foča.
Just 15 minutes after the first, there was a second earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 on the Richter scale, and the epicenter was at a distance of 30 kilometers, i.e. near Goražde.
The third and last earthquake occurred at 3:00 a.m., and ground shaking with a strength of 3.3 on the Richter scale was recorded in the area of Sokolac, 30 kilometers from Sarajevo.
For now, there is no information about the reported damages, while citizens left comments on the EMSC website in which they pointed out that they felt a short but strong shaking of the ground.
