Bosnia and Japan mark 25th Anniversary of the Diplomatic Relations

On 9thFebruary, Japan and Bosnia and Herzegovina marked the 25thanniversary of the diplomatic relations, which were established on 9thFebruary 1996.

On this day, Ambassador Ito Makoto exchanged the memorial letters with Dr. Zoran Tegeltija, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Dr. Bisera Turkovic, the Vice-Chair of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Letters were exchanged between Mr. Suga Yoshihide, the Prime Minister of Japan and Dr. Tegeltija, and between Mr. Motegi Toshimitsu, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, and Dr.Turkovic.

In their letters, both sides congratulated the 25thanniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and confirmed their intention to further strengthen bilateral relations. They also reiterated their readiness to cooperate in the fight against the novel coronavirus.
