Bosnia and Herzegovina exported goods worth 881 million BAM in January this year and recorded an increase of 2.9 percent compared to the same period last year, while imports amounted to one billion and 166 million BAM, which is less by 5.7 percent.
The BiH Statistics Agency announced that the import-export ratio amounted to 75.6 percent, and the foreign trade deficit amounted to 284 million BAM.
Exports to CEFTA countries amounted to 126 million BAM and increased by 1.5 percent compared to January last year, while imports amounted to 131 million BAM, which is 9.4 percent less.
The import-export ratio with CEFTA countries was 95.8 percent.
Exports to EU countries amounted to 665 million BAM and increased by 6.4 percent compared to January last year, while imports amounted to 711 million BAM, which is less by 5.6 percent.
