Bosnia-Herzegovina’s Futsal team beat Cyprus

The first-round qualifying matches of Group A for the 2022 European Championships took place on Thursday at the City Arena “Husejin Smajlovic” in Zenica.

After the Bosnia-Herzegovina futsal team beat Cyprus by 8:4, the second match was played in which Switzerland beat Gibraltar by 3:1.

Andrew Lopez scored in the 5thminute for the lead of Gibraltar and Gabriel Buckson evened the score in the 10thminute.

The Swiss played better in the second half, securing a victory with goals scored by Diego Uebelhart and Evangelos Marcoyannakis.

B&H is ranked first after the first round with 3 points as same as Switzerland, while Gibraltar and Cyprus have no points.

Second-round matches are scheduled for tomorrow when Cyprus-Switzerland (16:00 h) and BH-Gibraltar (19:00 h) will meet.
